Notes to this title:

This review copy (with review slip) also contains an additional insert of two photographs from the original production with printed quotes in the lower margins.

Includes many photographs of the 1968 Paris production; 5 new drawings by Fini especially for this book; Cloth bound with pictorial dust jacket. This is the script for the production which won Fini the equivalent of the "Tony" for production and costume design. The often lewd and bawdy costumes, along with a story that pushed the boundaries of sacrilege, caused a scandal when it opened.
