The collaged element is a newspaper clipping (from Paris-soir, December 13, 1934) concerning an exhibition of Brauner's work held that year at Galerie Pierre.  Introduced by Andre Breton, it was Brauner's first solo exhibition in Paris.

This artwork is accompanied by a photo-certificate of authenticity by Samy Kinge.
